Saturday is coming closer
The big event is coming closer and all we can do is rest, wait and play a couple of chess games...
Hey guys!
It's already Thursday and since I wasn't able to write something into this blog yesterday (due to strange things that affected our internet connection) I am doing this now.
As you might have read in Konrad's blog we had our last sparring session yesterday. Since you are not really supposed to spar a lot before a fight, we stick to running, doing the pads and practicing some chess moves.
The Built to Resist camp is really fun. There are lots of pictures of famous boxers and grandmasters on the walls and it kind of looks like these sports really belong together! We have all we need in here, punching bags, chess boards and a scale.
By the way, the picture shows the Sokolsky opening (sometimes called orang-utan opening, because the way the pieces move reminds of a monkey climbing up a tree...). It's a great opening and I may apply it in my fight...
... if I will be able to convince Jan of having a couple of "Koelsch" before we start!
Sebastian
