A Great night in London (For some!)
Oct 30 Chessboxing at Bethnal Green Working Mens Club. First of all I have to praise Tim Woolgar for organising this event. Not only was the organisation meticulous but Big Tim also fought on the bill!
My second fight
Some thoughts on Konrad's second chessboxing appearance in London. I received the confirmation that I will have an opponent to fight only three days before the fight, so for quite a long time I was suspended in a state uncertainty as to whether or not I will be fighting at all.
Pensive Thoughts
On October 30th at Bethnal Green ,London a night of Chessboxing will take place. This will be my first outing as a Chessboxer. Having to Juxtapose the physicality of boxing with the cerebral demands of Chess will be a challenge.
Coming up: Staufenberg vs The Rock Rematch in London
Andrew The Rock Costello got disqualified fighting von Staufenberg in Cologne September 2008. The referee decision was controversial. The rematch will be in London 30th of october. Just watch the video here and judge for yourself!
World Championships Chess and Boxing in Bonn and Berlin 2008
Last week I got the chanche to see 2 world championships of 2 of my favourite sports: Kramnik vs Anand and Klitschko vs Peters. Can 2 worlds be more different? I hereby challenge Kramnik and Klitschko to fight me in a chessboxing fight!
